Middleburg Community Charter School

The Middleburg Community Charter School (MCCS) is Northern Virginia's first public charter school and part of theLoudoun County Public School system. Offering an innovative, interdisciplinary, Leonardo da Vinci project based learning, small classroom sizes, multi-age learning, full-day Kindergarten, modified school-year calendar, and foreign languages.

What we do.

Middleburg Charter School is a public school which will provide the children of Loudoun County an SOL-based, academically rigorous, arts enhanced, integrated curriculum. Children will attain knowledge and critical thinking skills that will allow them to achieve advanced academic skills and strong personal values.

How we'll do it.

Through a theme based, interdisciplinary curriculum, including rigorous literacy and math instruction, MCCS will prepare students for middle and high school and beyond with a knowledge of core disciplines, understanding of scientific principles and an appreciation of the arts.
