Mississippi Right to Life

Mississippi Right to Life is an organization for those dedicated to protecting Life at all stages. We are a diverse organization. We have members who believe abortion and even contraception should be abolished with no exceptions. We have people who believe there should be some exceptions like rape/incest/ life of the mother. We have heterosexual members. We have homosexual members. We have extremely conservative members. We have liberal members. We have Christian members. We have atheist members. We all have the same goals and that is the protection of human life. We do NOT protest at clinics as an organization but realistically we probably have some members who do. What we DO is go to the capital and educate our senators and congressmen on pro-life related legislation. We attempt to get ENFORCEABLE legislation passed. We educate people on various pro-life issues at churches and public events so that those people can make an informed decision and spread the pro-life message with knowledge to their friends co-workers and any congressmen we might miss. (It's amazing just how many people are completely ignorant of the reality of abortion and euthanasia.) We can NOT and do NOT endorse FEDERAL candidates because the federal government says we can't and they can level heavy fines if it appears that we are. However our parent organization can and does endorse candidates if it is needed. Our group is as non-profit as it gets. None of our people are paid anything, not even travel reimbursement. All funds we get go to the above mentioned goals.
