The Camellia Cottage

I have a great love for vintage and prefer vintage and antique furniture to anything modern. I have read that ones taste changes every seven years...I have found this to be close to true and as I tend to get overly attached to certain pieces of furniture, even as I tire of them, I began to repurpose things by painting and rehabbing them. I love the look and feel of vintage. I adore shabby chic and the warmness of mixing pieces of vintage together.

I'm excited to share my love of vintage through The Camellia Cottage. Camellia's have always meant a great deal to me as my grandmother had a large lovely camellia that grew just outside of her kitchen door. I have planted a camellia with every house I have owned. I own a lovely little cottage that sits across the lawn from my Victorian house and thus the name The Camellia Cottage came to mind.
