Instruction
In our 20 hour Basic Tree Climbing Course, we'll go over all the basics of Double Rope Technique (DRT). This versatile method is unique to tree climbing and an essential skill for all tree climbers. Also, DRT requires minimal equipment - which means a lower investment in gear when starting out. We maintain a 3:1 Climber to Instructor ratio to provide a personalized level instruction.

Tall Tree Guided Climbs
With no more than a 3:1 climbers to guide ratio, guided climbs offer a unique tree climbing experience with few distractions. We work with interested climbers to develop a guided climb which works for their climbing styles and abilities. Climbers interested in some of our most challenging (and rewarding) trees may require some specialized training prior to the climb.

We strive to use trees in a wilderness setting, but the specific tree depends on the skills, abilities, and attitude of the climbers. We specialize in tall tree climbing - Redwoods and Douglas-firs in particular.


Program Climbing
Folks tend to have fun and motivate themselves when climbing with others. With our group climbs, participants can take to the trees with friends, family or classmates. We prefer climbs with at least 4 climbers, but we've facilitated groups of as few as 2 climbers. Contact us for details!

We are located in West Sonoma County - 30 min West of Santa Rosa, or about 1.5 hrs north of San Francisco.
