Poco's Handmade Leather Tomes

I first started making journals after a friend of mine showed me one she had received as a gift -- it was a 'water color' journal, but unfortunately the paper leaked through so she could only use one side. I thought, I can make that, and I can make it better! I made one for her first, and had her water color with the paper I had chosen, and it worked very well! Thus began a passion for creating leather journals. I have very artistic members in my family, gifted in both writing and the arts, so I have given a lot of journals away as gifts! It feels great to give a quality product that I am proud of.

I love the feel, smell and look of high quality cowhide leather and find working with a blank hide to create something new and special very rewarding. I put a lot of love into my designs, and sew each stitch with care. Each journal is hand cut, hand torn, handmade, unique, truly one of a kind. I hope you enjoy your journal, and create in it!
