Jacob and Barbara Schmidt purchased a tract of timberland on May 8, 1792, in what is now Juniata County. The land was cleared for a farm, beginning a multigenerational legacy that spans the entire history of our nation. Grateful for the heritage, we strive to feed people, care for our livestock, and protect our natural resources in a way that honors the labor of those who have gone before, and—foremost—the One who created it all. We grow grain, forage, and produce in our fields. Our livestock currently includes chickens and ducks for eggs and hogs raised for pork. The farmstand is along Whitehall Road and is open Monday through Saturday during daylight hours for self-service eggs and any produce that may be in season.
