Mark Friedman has been the owner of Senior Helpers Boston since 2009, and acquired the South Shore office in 2016. His goal is to set a new standard in home care in Massachusetts – from roots in delivering exceptional home care, to a high-touch agency with significant resources and connections for elders.

Mr. Friedman is an outspoken advocate for aging in place, caring for seniors wherever that “place” happens to be; in the home, an assisted living community, or other environment. The depth and breadth of the agency’s services reflect the increasingly complex needs of clients in an increasingly complex healthcare system, for which he is committed to helping seniors navigate safely and securely.

Mark Friedman is also an advocate for licensing and standardized practices for the homecare industry and serves as a member of the Private Duty Advisory Committee member for the Home Care Alliance (HCA). He is a founding member and Vice-Chair of the Massachusetts chapter of the Home Care Association of America. He has served as the national chairperson of the Senior Helpers Owners Council for the last five years and chairs the Senior Helpers Service committee evaluating the future needs of seniors and how to meet them. He influences the next generation of industry leaders as a Faculty member in Lasell College’s ambitious E.L.D.E.R. Partnership Program and is a certified trainer of the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT®).
