Our Main facility in Maplewood includes our 10,000 sq ft. Early Childhood Learning Center, a program center, gymnasium and Welcome Center, as well as an enclosed outdoor deck, large attractive playground and grassy field. Our hours of operation are designed to meet both the needs of our extensive youth recreation programs, as well as working parents with extended hours of operations (both early and late).

South Mountain YMCA offers a number of childcare and youth programs to meet our communities’ need for these services. We design our childcare and youth programs and curricula in line with the Y’s philosophy of building the sprit, mind, and body. Programs are designed to promote physical, emotional, social, and educational growth in the children we serve. All Child Care programs are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. Our hours of operation are designed to meet both children’s and youth’s developmental and social/recreational needs, and working parents’ needs for extended hours of operations (both early and late).
