Q: What do you pay for clothing?
A: Not too much at all. Storkdaddys is set up to benefit the buyer, not so much the seller. Because most of our clothing sells for $1, we do not pay a whole lot. If you're looking to get the most cash back for your clothing, you may consider selling them privately. i.e. Craigslist or a Yard Sales Facebook Page. We understand that you pay top dollar for your children's clothing, and to be offered a fraction of what you paid may seem ridiculous. But our store is here for those who cannot afford to pay top dollar but whose children deserve it.

Q: How much do you pay for large items like Swings?
A: Storkdaddys pays between 20 and 25%. Let's say your swing costs $100 at Target, Walmart or Amazon. We would look that item up by it's model number, ensure that it works as intended and without intervention and of course, that it is clean. Once this is done, we'll give you an offer of about $18 - $25 in cash or double the cash offer, in store credit. Items like swings sell for 1/2 the retail price, or in this case, $49.99. Again, if you're looking to get the most cash back on your large items, we suggest Craigslist or even giving it to a friend. Whenever you sell to a store, you won't get nearly what you'd get back than if you were selling privately.

Q: What size do you go up to?
A: We buy Preemie through 6X.

Q: What are you buying? How will I know what to bring in?
A: We buy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 10am and 5pm. On the opposite days, we'll put a new post on our Facebook page listing the things that we need in the store or things that we're short on. If it's clothing, we'll try to be size specific so that your trip to Storkdaddys is not wasted. If you have something that's not listed, just ask it in the comments section of the post, send a private message or call 254-415-7668.

Q: How many pieces can I bring in at a time?
A: Because there is usually one person working, we ask that you only bring no more than 50 pieces at a time. Outfits are counted as 1 piece. We won't necessarily count out each piece but it's usually about 5 grocery bags or 1 large trash bag.

Q: What brands do you take?
A: Storkdaddys takes all brands. We know that not all people can afford the name brand or boutique brands, which is why we accept store or local brands. As long as the clothing is of good quality, we will buy it. We will not buy clothing that is torn, ripped, stained in any way, too worn, frayed or smells of smoke. Please take time to wash and dry clothing before bring it to Storkdaddys.

Q: How does Store Credit work?
A: Store credit is given in exchange for the items you brought in to sell. You do not have to use your store credit the day it is given. You may use store credit during sales and using the free LoyalBlocks app. If your purchase total is $30, and you have $10 in Store Credit, you may use all $10 of your Store Credit towards your purchase, and pay $20 in either Cash or Credit Card. If your purchase total is $10, and you have $10 in Store Credit, then you may use $5 in Store Credit and pay $5 in either Cash or Credit Card. Some exceptions may apply but this is typically how store credit is spent.

Q: Can I just trade what I have for what I want?
A: No. If you have an item that you want to sell to Storkdaddys, you may do so. But there are no even swaps, switches or trades. Example: You have a boy Boppy and you're having a girl now, so you need a girl Boppy. You may sell me your boy Boppy for Store Credit and apply that towards the purchase of a girl Boppy.

Q: How can I refund an items I just bought?
A: There are NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. If a product does not work properly after just purchasing it, you may bring it back. If we cannot get the product to work, you may pick another item of equal or lesser value and if there is any left over $$$, it will be added to your Stork Credit. account. If you would like to switch an item because your child does not like it, you may sell it to Storkdaddys like a normal transaction.

Q: When is the next $1 Sale?
A: We have monthly $1 Sales that are typically held on the middle Saturday of the month. Please check our page for details or call 254-415-7668.


Things To Know:
If we do not take all the items you bring in, please understand that it is not meant to be a 'slap in the face'. Storkdaddys must rely on present needs and past experience to determine what will sell in our store. As we respect your decision to accept or decline our offer to buy your items, please respect our business and do not attempt to sell your items in the store to other customers. People who try to sell their items inside the store or in the parking lot are subject to be banned. This will not be tolerated.
