The Falafel Guys

Two brothers, one dream—To share our love for Lebanese and Mediterranean food with the community. When our parents immigrated to America over 25 years ago, they brought with them a healthy appetite for work, and countless home-cooked recipes we remember fondly. That passion for wholesome, quality food was the basis for a successful family-run food vendor business that Kareem (my brother) and I helped run. When our parents sold the business, we knew that it was just a matter of time before we struck out and opened our own restaurant, bringing with us that same passion for cooking our parents had.

With Kareem in his final semester at The University of Texas and me being a former petroleum engineer, we know what it’s like to work hard. We knew we had the drive to open our own restaurant, and with Austin’s love of healthy, ethnic cuisine, the Weird City was just the place to do it!
However, we know Austin is a place of dynamic concepts, and we didn’t want to be just another ethnic restaurant. After a long night of brainstorming, we came up with an even more ingenious idea—the country's first Uber Eats exclusive eatery!
Our goal is to bring our delicious ethnic food straight to you.
