The acceleration in growth of the human population is having a positive affect on the global economy by greatly increasing the need for food, shelter, and other commodities, while at the same time, depleting our vital resources and creating pollution problems.

As the Piscean age yielded to Aquarius, we also went through changes on a metaphysical level. The consciousness of the Piscean age is characterized by the dependence of the masses on an authority figure to whom they surrender their power. A one-size-fits-all mentality imposed from the top with one formula of conduct prescribed for the followers below. As we move into the Aquarian age, individuals will connect directly with God and receive guidance specific to their unique needs. At the same time they will be guided to interact harmoniously with others. Greater freedom in spiritual and religious expression will abound.

Rather than one religion needing to dominate all others to bring world peace, peace will come because all religions and spiritual paths will honor and respect each other and work together for peace. However, society will undergo a profound transformation in its values, beliefs and motivations as well as the way it is organized as we move from where we currently are to a firmly established new world of peace.
