Trinity Classical Academy uses the trivium, a three part language-focused process of training the mind. The classical tradition holds that all knowledge is interrelated. Students are first taught the building blocks for all other learning. As students master facts and images, they develop logical tools for organizing them. Students then learn to express reasoned conclusions. The classical Christian curriculum teaches students an analytical management of knowledge that is cultivated to understand and implement all forms of writing including Scriptures. Classical Christian schools are designed to produce students with the ability and discipline to use reason, analysis, and perspective. The diligence applied to understand and interpret classical literature is an integral part of cognitive, spiritual, and social development at Trinity Classical Academy of Summerville.
