*****Directions: From Algonquin Parkway, go North on 35th Street. Turn left on Shadyside Drive to access the BACK parking lot immediately visible. The cafeteria entrance is the recessed door in the BACK of the building. FRONT AND SIDE DOORS ARE LOCKED.*******

The Saturday Academy partners include Jefferson County Public Schools, University of Louisville Pan-African Studies Department, Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton, the Kentucky African American Heritage Center, and the Louisville Urban League.

People seek expanded views of history and social problems. The need for knowledge of the Black and African world is becoming more, not less, important.

In an era where perspectives on history are omitted, misrepresented or revised, the Saturday Academy serves as an enlightening alternative. Join us as we celebrate our 20th year of community outreach programming.
