Upstairs and Big Room Galleries

The Upstairs and Big Room Gallery community is made up of resident and guest artists whose common goal is to expose the Twin Cities to great art and to engage with the population of our city through art.

We are participants in the bi-monthly Downtown Gallery Crawls that take place on the first Thursday of every other month. The Upstairs Gallery usually hosts solo or collaborative exhibitions while the Big Room Gallery showcases the resident and visiting artists work in a variety of mediums.

Currently, resident artists Rick Sikes, Emily Caldwell, Victoria Smith, Jon Aiken, Christen Parker, and Betsy Putnam work out of their studios located in both galleries.

Reoccurring artists Lacy Mitcham, Ben Bennett, Amy Ouchley, and Jason Byron Nelson work remotely from their studios and show consistently at the Gallery Crawls and are an active part of both gallery communities.
